I'm not into reading books, but this looks like a huge improvement with "cause" over past hashi books.
Note: Regular low thyroid and Hashimoto antibody immune low thyroid are NOT the same; but both require thyroid supplement after time.
Even 15 years ago there was not much known about
this autoimmune condition and Drs simply treated the thyroid while ignoring remaining symptoms. There were / are people on forums that dont even grasp the fact that it effects the whole body, even while your on thyroid supplement.
Endos dont help- they ignore the fact that this is an autoimmune illness effecting the whole body and they only treat the thyroid!
The cycle must be broken to repair it, or at least to minimize symptoms.
I have reduced one of my antibodies thru diet after it was still elevated after ABX lyme killing. Its impossible to tell if my remaining symptoms are from hashi or lyme damage. One might say hashi is from lyme in my case, but its the chicken or the egg thing. Overall immune dysfunction may have let both illness rise independent of each other too in some people.

The body becomes stuck in a vicious cycle of immune system overload, adrenal insufficiency, gut dysbiosis, impaired digestion, inflammation, and thyroid hormone release abnormalities....":/www.amazon.com/Hashimotos-Thyroiditis-Lifestyle-Interventions-Treating/dp/0615825796?tag=thyroipharma-20/thyroidpharmacist.com/articles/whats-really-going-on-in-hashimotos//thyroidpharmacist.com/articles/autoimmune-thyroid-disease-and-anxiety/
