So 2 years ago I was told I was borderline hypothyroid. My latest TSH was 6.04 (previously about 4.68 when I was told I was borderline).

I'm frequently tired, but can't sleep at night, trouble dealing with temperatures too hot or too cold, dry hair and skin, depression and an increase in my already existing anxiety issues, I also can't lose weight despite working out 5 hours per week for the last 6 months...

In the last 2 months I have developed an on again off again sore throat, but I'm not sure if that is a symptom of hypothyroidism or if it's something else??? Saw an ENT who put me on an antibiotic for it, but after 10 days, no change.

I've been referred to an Edocrinologist and am awaiting a return call from them to schedule an appointment. I'm feeling so physically and emotionally drained!

Sorry you're feeling so badly.

What is the TSH range?
Have you had your FT3 and FT4 plus anitobides tested?

The range was .4 - 4.5. My TSH was 6.04.
T3 = 108
T4 = 0.9

I don't know much about what those numbers mean except that the tests state everything but the TSH is within normal range...
