Just thought to ask as I have been fighting some fatigue/brain fog issues ever since taking some antibiotics 3 months ago. It seems like these did something to my CNS, thus I am getting all sorts of tests to see if anything stands out. My thyroid test was normal except for T3 uptake which was at 24. This is the last number of the low end of the normal range. Curious if this need to be elevated, and if that would help the heavy fatigue I am experiencing. Just looking for anything at this point.

Hi,

Ask you PCP to order thyroid function tests to see if your thyroid gland is working properly, these tests are as follow:

TSH (thyroid stimulating hormone), Free T3 and Free T4, TGab, TPOab and TSI antibodies.

This full thyroid panel should determine whether you have hashimoto's disease that can cause both hypo and hyperthyroidism, or Graves disease that can cause hyperthyroidism.

I do not know I never performed it, but I think it is obsolete and of little use.

Search the web for it !!!
