He looks like a scam artist to me. Many patients with chronic illnesses, like us, are desperate for solutions and will spend on products or services with little or no evidence of them working (no scientific research etc.).

If this Dr Snow could cure Ulcerative Colitis then he would be a Nobel Laureate and his name would be all over the news.

It seems to me that a number of things can be true at the same time:

-No one seems to know what is causing UC. There are theories, but no proof.
-It seems that some folks get their UC under control with medication
-It seems that some folks get their UC under control through a dietary/alternative approach
-I also seems that for some folks the only option seems surgery.
-It also seems that there are number of charlatans who exploit the desperation of UC sufferers

I fall into the 3rd category (dietary/alternative approach), as introduced by my holistic doctor. She didn't make that much money on me (a few hundred bucks), and it worked for me. If you google "ulcerative colitis scd diet" or "ulcerative colitis stage 1 diet kaufmann" you can come across other folks who were lucky enough to get their UC under control with a dietary/alternative approach.
Diagnosed in 2004 - Ulcerative Colitis
Highly restrictive SCD Diet and later on Anti-fungal Diet (a variation of the SCD diet) since 2005
In remission since 2006
Added back (in moderation) favorite regular food
Take daily home made yogurt, Psyllium Powder (seed and husk), spring water instead of tap water

I'm being from India, it is common for me to see the people who believe in all these magical cures. But it is surprising for me to see that the people like them does exists even in developed countries. Let me tell you my cousin story who has epilepsy and wanted try a natural cure as proposed by some charlatan. he told him to stop regular medication while on his treatment for 4 months. At the end of fourth month, now he is in hospital fighting for his life.

So, If you really want to try something new you can but do not try to stop your regular medication. Otherwise you may going to put your self in danger of having severe disease or even worse.

Dr. Albert Snow is a SCAM. He cherishes the hope of disparate patients.
I have been suffering UC for last 6 years. During my latest flare up, I came across to Dr. Snow Web site and read his claims and testimonials and I impressed.
I decided to consult him. I paid him $300. Over the phone he told me that I am lucky one who found him and I will be healed in 3 months and said that this disease is result of antibiotics what I took in past Nothing else. And he suggested me his so-called protocol.
And he told me $700 cost of 3 months treatment and it will be complete healed. His trick is, he advises the prednisone same time. Here is his protocol.
Probiotic, colostrum, protein (GI select), and permeability from moss nutrition. Very expensive supplements.
After taking 2 months and there is no relief and he advised me to double the dose of supplements that cost me another $1200 of supplements. I spent almost $2300 and RESULT is ZERO.
Now it almost over 4 months since I started his protocol and he is advising some other supplements what I will not buy. DO NOT WASTE YOU TIME AND MONEY.

Sorry you got scammed. There is no cure for UC unfortunately, and the stuff he is prescribing is just helping the gut... you have to help the immune system, it’s not the gut that’s causing problems it’s the immune system.
Diagnosed at 7, in the gray area between crohns and UC. Surgery on Jan 27, 2018 #nocolonstillrollin

The same week my brother also consulted Dr. Snow on my suggestion for his chronic bloating. He paid $300 plus $400 supplements. Relief ZERO.
