My WBC has gotten as high as 28 without noticable symptoms. Prednisone can make those levels very high, all it means is that there is inflammation in your body or that prednisone is present. I'm assuming you got these numbers from your GI or GP. If you are worried you can always ask for a referral to a hemotologist. I had some unusual numbers a few months back and had to go see one, turned out to be nothing but its nice to know that my GI is looking out for me.
I wouldn't be worried but a call to your GI might make you feel better.
