i'm doing fairly well, i think the more i keep busy the less time i have to stress over UC which makes me feel better :) i'm still doing the remicade thing and am very please, it will be 2 years in june.

i havent had a colooscopy in awhile, is that bad? i had one right before i started the remicade which made my doc put me on remicade. so do you think its time for another one?

Hey Kelina! So good to hear from you! It sounds like things are really working out well for you; and best wishes for your wedding. I've been on Remi for 2 1/2 years, and I just asked my doc if I needed a colonoscopy any time soon, and he said that I wouldn't need one for another couple of years if I keep doing as well as I have been. So, I suppose it's better to ask you doc; it always sounds to me like they have different opinions on things. ;-) Take care and so glad to hear from you and that life is good for you. It's always an encourgement to have folks come on and tell us how well things are going for them....and good to hear from our friends!

I don't think I've seen my GI in about 2 1/2 years! I haven't really had any problems, and if I do, I just email him and he responds to me right away. Just two weeks ago he called and told me that he wanted me off the Azthrioprine because of the high incidences of lymphoma associated with taking the two together. I still need to ask if I need to be on another med but I just hadn't had time to do it. He's normally pretty up on everything, so I'm sure he wouldn't have missed it, but I'll still ask.
