Hello fellow U/C'ers!!

I'm back from Montana at the request of my husband. I got in about a week before Christmas and the drive wasn't bad at all coming home. I did hit an icy spot going over a bridge in Idaho, but it wasn't too scary. Anyhow, I was gone for about 2 months, and enjoyed every second of it! It snowed quite a bit and in fact, there was snow the entire time I was there except for the first 10 days or so. My husband missed me so much and really wanted me to come back and work on our marriage. We have been going to counseling with a GREAT Christian counselor and it has been helping us very much. I do think the time apart was very wise, we learned about ourselves and it was a nice break from all the chaos that was going on before I left.

I do miss my cabin though!!!! It is such a beautiful place and the horseback riding was AWESOME! Ialso met a few great friends while there and have been keeping in touch via email since coming back to CA.

Bad news though, my husband cought the stomach virus today!! Argh, he's been throwing up today and I PRAY that I don't catch it! I've been feeling a bit yucky today with a little bit of an upset stomach, but notihing like he's got. Maybe I have only a touch of it....  My U/C has been behaving so well and I wouldn't want to jepordize it in any way! So, he's in the bedroom with one laptop, I'm in the living room with the other laptop and we instant message each other whene he needs something.. lol..  Plus, I've been wiping down everything with germ killing wipes... I feel almost obsessed with that.. LOL

Glad you made it back safely from Montanta and before Christmas; from what a few of my co-workers told me; their drive back from Colorado after Christmas was treacherous! Good to hear that you are in counseling and that things are improving. Take care, and now don't you get that bug...ya' hear? :-)

Update for y'all... Hubby is feeling better but spending most of the last 2 days in bed catching up on his rest... Wednesday was hard for him but at least the horrid part didn't last more than 6 hours or so. As for me, I'm feeling a little sick, although I think taking a probiotic every day is helping me fight it off. I had a little liquipoopie this morning along with some queasiness, and have lost my appetite for the last couple of days, but nothing so far "knock on wood" like my hubby had. Hopefully it will be over by tomorrow.

We are having a HORRIBLE storm today, strong winds and rain.. Our power went out for a few hours this morning and has been flickering off and on all day.. thank GOD for my barn so I can keep my horses nice and dry... Hey Loneylane and Sherree, are you building your arks yet? Mine's almost finished!!!

Hey Susie; this storm is crazy! Even my Philadephia-born boyfriend is amazed at the power -- I haven't had any trees come down this time, but fences are down everywhere. I'm just doing everything I can inside....guess my house needed to be cleaned! I don't mind the rain, but the wind freaks me out! The gusts have been incredible; just glad I'm not up in Tahoe area right now! Take care and stay safe; okay? Glad you are back here safe and sound; I have a feeling this storm is moving east and it's not going to be pretty.
