But can eye color change over time?  I know in the elderly, their eye color can fade but has that every happened to anyone that was younger?  Up until maybe the past year or so, I've always had dark brown (almost black) eyes with a black ring around the color of my eye.  But I've noticed recently, especially in pictures, that my eye color has changed.  I now have light brown with green and gray and that dark ring around the color has changed to a weird blue/gray color.  Is that weird or what??  Btw, my vision is fine - no cloudiness nor fuzziness.

it seems it can.  Mine isn't as "bright" ...more diffused since I was younger.

Rona, I'm lucky.....I just recently had my cholesterol checked and I'm only 4 pts higher then when I was 18! 149 I think it was.

mine have always changed during the year, in the summer they have always turned to a golden brown, and in the winter they turn really dark brown. But while i was sick they were just dull, the whole time. Since i have had my colon out they have started to get brighter, and look more normal
