Since I was diagnosed with UC in 1990
I have never had a total normal  colon.
The best was "looks good you only have a
few inches here and there ".

Has anyone since being diagnosed with UC
had a colonoscopy with no visable inflamation?

Is that even possible?

Diagnosed panColitis 1990.
Current Meds Asacol x4
twice a day.
Pred for flares.
I still have my colon THANK YOU GOD!!!
Started 1/08
raw milk-kefir made with raw milk
natto
caprylic acid-oregano oil
probiotic

I have only been Dx since Feb '07, and only had 1 Colonoscopy. I was told that exact thing though when my Doc gave me the diagnosis. Dunno if that helps..?

Yes, in fact I had one done last April in which I had no inflammation at all - well I take that back, I had some minor irritation in the rectal area but that was from the prep so the doc said.

My last one showed no inflammation at all. I also have no symptoms now. I'm in a wonderful, welcome remission.

Great news for you.  I have never achieved complete remission

but think I am close now.  Scope probably  later this year.

I am trying a few new things that will hopefully do the final trick.
