It's always a shock to see red in the toilet bowl! Enough to make your heart stop. (((hugs)))
Go for the enemas. Unless you've had a bad reaction to them, they won't hurt. Just remember that it can take a few days for them to kick in - and the first few days can seem worse than without them.
If you're really curious as too how much blood you're passing, try AnotherUCWife's suggestion about
putting foil or plastic wrap on the toilet to catch everything. Then you'll know. A couple of drops can really turn the water colors. Or use a plastic cup or old margarine dish you can throw away.
Also, start an iron supplement. Anemia is miserable, as you know. Better to keep it from happening. If you're still bleeding at the three week mark, get a blood test to check iron levels.
If you're not confindent in your doctor, get a second opinion. This is your gut! You should be sure about
what you're doing with it :)
