Hi, I was wondering if anyone has tried a detox diet. I feel compelled to try one because I have never really had a healthy diet my whole life and I think my body is probably full of a lot of toxins. I also have lots of fatique. What's the scoop on detox diets and colitis? Good or bad idea? My current diet kinda sucks right now anyways even though I have colitis! My colitis isn't severe I would say, 1-3 BMs a day each one D or soft and each one with urgency! I thought I could put my body in a healthy state so it could heal itself naturally. I am out of school right now so I don't mind experimenting.

Is it a bad or good idea? If good, what is a good one to try for colitis or does it matter?

Thanks :)

Do you have a specific diet in mind? It's hard for us to give an advice without more detail. There's a wide range of "detox" diets out there.
