I feel yucky today!  Been flaring 2 months, tapered down to 25 m prednisone.  Been on imuran 2 weeks...Still bleeding. loose stools, but I feel yuckier than I have been. (Plus I have a sinus infection) How do I know if its UC, imuran?  I had blood work yesterday so I guess if its funny that will show up....Ugh wish i could go home and go to bed!

Poor you! Those are definite reasons to feel crummy. mad  Hope you can get the sinus infection under control w/o antibiotics messing up your UC. And rest is no doubt what you need to get back on track-- we all need more time for that! Wish you a winning lotto ticket ... yeah / Old Hat (nearly 30 yrs with left-sided UC ... [etc.])

I can see where the combination of all of those things going on with you are making you feel icky! I hope that you can get some much needed rest. Hang in there. The Imuran will take a while to work, but it can be making you feel bad. The sinus infection will definately make you feel bad. Drink something hot a soothing and put your feet up when you get home from work. You deserve to baby yourself for a few days at the very least.

I get sinus infections a lot, and they always make me feel lousy all over. Aside from antibiotics, the one thing I have found that really helps is a hot towel to the face and to back of the neck. It loosens things up and helps get things draining. Plus, it's like having a mini-facial!
Current Medications:
- Asacol (4 pills, 3x per day)
- Rowasa (1 enema daily, as needed)
- Folic Acid (1 mg, 1x per day)
- Calcium (600 mg, 2x per day)
- Prenatal Vitamin (1x per day)
- Iron (2x per day)
