Hello I am in the hospital now to treat my flare ups. I have been in hospital since wednesday. They gave me steroids, Aascol, imulan since Friday and the flares have not went down.

I am on IV for dehydration. I cannot hold weight I am going to the University today because the GI here says he cannot do much.

If the steroids does not work in a few days them I have to be transferred.

The University is very good.

I don't know what to expect. The GI here will not give me Remcide because I have lost some blood too since the massive blood in stool.

May I ask? Is more treatment work it? If the doctor sugguests surgery should I execpt it?

My whole colon is inflammed.

HAS ANYONE MY SITUATION????????

PLEASE

feelfine, if you're going to a hospital that you feel is very good, don't get too far ahead of yourself. They may have just the combination that will help. If surgery is recommended, make sure you get all the information, pro and con, but only you can make the decision.

And just a tip - all caps is considered screaming, and you'll probably get more response if you avoid screaming. We all want to help, but high drama makes some of us flare and get sick.
