I asked this on the fibro forum because I wasn't sure if it was fibro related or what. Which according them, it isn't. I'm making a doctors appt tomorrow to find out why the heck my lymph nodes under my arms are so stinkin' painful! Does anyone have a clue as to why a lymph node would start hurting? I've had this gradual increasing pain under my arms (mostly my right) and the one near my breast for the past 2 weeks. I used to have that under my right arm whenever I was due to start my periods but since I've had the ablation, my hormone cycle has been a bit messed up. Normally though, during that time, the pain would only last about
3 days before I'm due to start. I asked my doc about
that once and she said it was common for some women to get increased pain in that area as well as the breast. But this has been going on for a while now. And it feels sort of swollen and it hurts alot when my arm rubs across. Any ideas?
edited to add: I had an ultrasound and mammogram of my breast and lymph nodes about 6 months ago and everything looked fine.
