Does anyone know for positive how long it takes Imuran to leave your system?  I have read/heard conflicting information on it.  My doctor says it only takes 2 weeks, and while I trust his opinions on things completely, I have read that it takes anywhere from a minumum of 8 weeks to 6 months!
My doc wants me to come off Imuran 2 weeks before delivery so that I can breastfeed, but if that isn't long enough, I dont want the baby to be exposed to it and leave him/her immunocompromised.
Thanks for the help!

Jessica, I'd suggest checking with your pharmacist on this. To me, it makes sense that if it takes 2 to 3 months to build up, it would take the same to get out of your body.
