I am breathing a sigh of relief  :-)    My lymph nodes are fine luckily but I have fibrocystic breasts which can account for the pain.  The only advice she gave me was to take pain relievers and wait for my hormone cycle to wane.  She apologized that she couldn't of been more help because normally she would prescribe anti-inflammatories for this condition but we know how that goes.

And while I was there, I talked to her about this darn rash on my upper lip and chin (which still hasn't gone away!) so she prescribed me Elidel.  So I'm hoping this will get rid of it.

Red - I am glad you are alright. I have had a couple of fibroids in my right breast in the past, and they are painful. Mine have always been more on the top, though, so I didn't think of it when you were asking about lymph nodes. The good news is that they don't last forever! They will go away on their own.
Current Medications:
- Asacol (4 pills, 3x per day)
- Rowasa (1 enema daily, as needed)
- Folic Acid (1 mg, 1x per day)
- Calcium (600 mg, 2x per day)
- Prenatal Vitamin (1x per day)
- Iron (2x per day)

Sherry, if you're taking any coffee or other food or drink with caffeine, cutting out the caffeine will help. When you're really sore, moist heat sometimes helps. (I just got a mental picture of that - as if we need anything new to make us seem ridiculous!)

LOL I guess I can walk around with hot water bottles hanging off my chest! :) I do drink coffee but just a few cups in the morning. It helps keep the ole colon running smoothly in the mornings for me (I'm not flaring right now). But after the few cups, I switch to decaf or water thru out the day. My doc asked me that too. What I find amusing is that she was going thru a whole list of pain meds seeing what I could take and eventually we figured out that I should just stick to Tylonel or Darvocet!

LOL, Sherry, I just went through that with my dentists for antibiotics. They normally use amoxicillin or doxycycline, and of course I'm not going to take either of those. We finally settled on Erythromycin which is giving me nice pudding poop, but no pain or bleeding. If my infection is cleared up when I go back on Friday, I plan to ignore medical advice and stop the antibiotic.
