I haven't psted much but I do read. Please do not neglect the bleeding with this visciuos disease.I spent 3 weeks in the hospital in Nov.~Dec..First my potassium went so low I had a small heart attack.almost died.I was in for 11 days~home 3 and back again hemorrhaging from the rectum.I had 3 blood transfusions. Now I just came out again after vomiting and diarrhea so bad my potassium sunk again. I am finished! If I can hold out one month with the horrible pain,(til the weather breaks) I am having this thing out.I still have the pain though a top notch Dr. here did a mini sygmoid on me and the U.C. healed! I am older.I have a few years left and refuse to spend them this way...Please be careful...

I was just catching up with posts i missed and found your post.Welcome to HW.You really have had a nightmare time with your last flare.I have read on here about heart problems related to heart attacks, but i think you are one of the first UCers her to acually go through it.(I may be wrong)
Did your doctor say your UC is healed fully. If you are still experiencing pain it would suggest something is going on, maybe IBS issues if you are in remission.
Hope you get feeling better soon
