I have a hard time getting my Prednisone down, especially when I was up to 40 mg or more. The pills are just are so bitter! I started taking it with V8 veggie juice (low sodium). The V8 has a strong enough flavor to cover the bitterness AND as a bonus it's a serving of veggies. I haven't been eating as much veggies as I should because I am scared of most of them now.

Also, I had been bad about taking my supplements consistently, but very good about medicine compliance, even when I was on Colazal and had to take it three times a day (yeah once a day Lialda!!). Since I didn't want to take the supps in the morning (with 11 or so pills I already have to take I just couldn't take the supps then as well). But I did note that putting my meds in a one week pill strip had helped with compliance. So I put a week's worth of supps in another strip and I make sure I take them with my dinner.

Hope these tips that have worked for me work for other.
