Posted 2/6/2008 5:07 PM (GMT -7) many times a day are you going and what's the consistency?

It could mean you're flaring (rectal meds will help) or you have a fissure (rectal meds will help as well as topical preparations to help heal).

Have you taken a peek? Squatting over a mirror is a good way to do so..

*Heather*Status: mini flare Dec 28... tapered to every second night

Sounds like rectal fissure(s) or hemmorhoids. An OTC cortisone cream might help. You can also check out FissureHeal suppositories:

Soaking in a warm bath can provide relief, too.
Diagnosed with ulcerative colitis spring 1999.
Therapeutic dose sulfasalazine.
Probiotics, l-glutamine and fish oil caps. George's aloe vera juice and Mucosaheal. Oregano oil antibiotic, antiviral, antifungal.
