I am one of those people that every morning like clock work, I have to make my morning deposit. Every now & then, I take Lunasta to help me sleep. I have noticed lately that sometimes after I take it, I don't make my morning deposit. Which is great in a way but then you worry all day at work on when it is going to hit you & you have to run. Sometimes, I don't go all day but make up for it the next.
I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this?

Melatonin is a better option sleeping pill. It is a very powerful anti-oxidant and so its also good for IBD

Always check he side effects and warnings about melatonin....especially the fact that it can exacerbate autoimmune disease/symptoms.

I had that happen to me too when I was taking Ambien.  But here are the side effects of Lunesta.

Other, less serious side effects are more likely to occur. Continue to take chlordiazepoxide and methscopolamine and talk to your doctor if you experience

  • headache, dizziness, or lightheadedness;
  • weakness or nervousness;
  • blurred vision, large pupils, or sensitivity of the eyes to bright light;
  • nausea, bloating, heartburn, or constipation;
  • changes in taste;
  • difficulty urinating;
  • decreased sweating; or
  • nasal congestion, stuffiness, or a dry mouth.

You should really do everything you can to stay away from sleeping tablets.I had some nasty experiences with those things.I would never take them again and i used to take them regularly.I agree about tthe melatonin.If you really have to take anything try Melatonin.If of course you can take Melatonin.
