they gave me 2 boxes (2 weeks worth) of this Align, probiotic, as a sample. the doctor stressed repeatedly that it isn't in place of medicine, just a "little extra." still just wondering if anyone else has heard of it or used it? the Gi believes in probiotics, but only certain ones, including this one, apparently...

From what I can tell after googling it, Align has a different, patented type of bacteria in it. Best guess is that the doc likes it because there's been some clinical research done on it. Knowing the way things work in the medical world, it's probably also because the company has been pitching it to doctors and it's the one he knows the most about.

I'm interested to hear how well it works for you. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed that it really does the trick!

I had seen an advertisement for it in the coupon section of the newspaper a few months ago. But that's about all I know about it.

Let us know how it works!
