Can cortifoam be taken twice a day or is that to much? My current GI told me to just use it before bed (which does enable me to get a nights sleep). I have been seeing a second GI for another opinion and he has told me that I can use it first thing in the morning also. I'm a little confused as my mornings usually consist of about 5 trips to the bathroom before lunch time. I'm not sure if a shot of cortifoam in the morning would fix this or if I would just "pass" it out faster then it would be able to do anything.

To anyone who has used this product before please let me know what you do....

Thanks.

Currently in a flare since summer 07 - I desperately miss remission!!!
Current Meds: 15mg Pred, 2000mg salofalk, calcium supplements, Pantoloc, Buscopan, Clonazopam
Started 100mg Imuran Jan 15/08 - no noticeable effect yet...

I've taken it morning and night in the past.  Just wait till you are finished with your bathroom trips till you use it in the morning.

Definitely it can be used in the morning....and do so after you're pretty much finished in the bathroom.

Eventually you should see an improvement.

OR better yet....you could get the doc to prescribe you Salofalk retention enemas to use at night and the cortifoam in the morning.

My experiance is using it once at bedtime has worked for me...I've had to be on it longer likely because of only being able to use it once/day, but I still get results from it...I've never bothered using it in the am or day time because that's always been my most active times of day...using it before bed and going to sleep right after has kept the cortifoam in all night making it more effective.

:)
My bum is broken....there's a big crack down the middle of it!  LOL  :)
