I'm wondering if those of you that take digestive enzymes (in particular Zymactive) are having good success with them?  I just started taking Zymactive and can't believe how quickly it started helping me.  (Thanks Quincy for the suggestion!!!) I keep hoping that it will continue to be a positive - it's brought the bloating and gassy problems that I was having under control.  So far, I haven't noticed any ill effects.  I'm currently taking it 3 times per day (about 20 minutes before eating).

Anyone else using it?  What are your thoughts and how often do you use it?  Should I plan on using it all the time or only when having "issues"?  Are there other brands that anyone has had good results with?

Thanks for any help or thoughts you can offer.

I've been using "Digest Gold" by Enzymatic Therapy with alot of success! I try to pop a few of them before every meal and I feel like my digestion is greatly improved. I use them all the time, even when I'm not in a flare, and I"m sure they keep my digestive system from getting too stressed out at any point.

Alot of IBDers swear by them...I use natural digestive enzymes as I can tolerate them with no problems...I eat kiwis or papya, pineapple, after each meal with no problems, they naturall help break down your food for easier digestion (less work for the intestines).
