Have you used UC meds with success in the past? What about 5ASAs and/or enemas? See your GI as soon as possible. Your regular doc doesn’t know much about UC.

when i was first diagnosed i was put on asacol i couldnt tolerate that, then i started smoking which was really stupid on my part but my gi wouldnt try a different med. so smoking kept me in remission but i dont smoke anymore and now i dont know what to do. i want a new gi that i can comunicate with but have not got any luck on that.
