I totally agree!  When I was a kid, the ladies in the family would go out for lunch on Saturdays - I usually had the kid's favorite - grilled cheese.  This one restaurant usually put pickels on the plate!  (How dare they!)  I would always request no pickles - they made my sandwich and fries soggy!  Be a finicky child, that left a lot of wasted food on the plate.

Pan-colitis and GERD diagnosed May 2003
Asacol 12 per day,  Azathioprine 75mg, Aciphex, Effexor XR, Forvia and a Probiotic
Osteopenia (hip and spine) from prednisone use.  Started Azathioprine because I was steroid dependent.

I hear ya, my son is going on 15 and he still hates it when his variations of food on his plate touch one another, infact, he goes out of his way to take his veggies and eat them first then add his meat to his plate...I've even seen him scraping sauce off of his noodles, including the spices...not easy to please a kid like that so I gave up a long time ago. When I make stew, he'll eat each thing in it seperately too, won't dare eat a spoonfull of meat and veggies together, how whacked is that!!!
