Hi mine is flaring up bad at the moment and there is bloody mucus

i have quite watery BMs and its difficult to know how much blood is in it

how do you get on for the rest of the day ? .. when i was a bit more solid i used to have 2 or 3 good stools and then the last would be blotted with fair amount blood soaked in

Its always good to see the doctor though , or even to make the appointment to know its in place and
ease your mind a little

My Bms are changing in consistency.I am very inflamed in the lower colon though, i know because of the lower abdominal cramps and lower back pain.it is also very hard for any BM to pass through. This is making it worse because i am having a lot of pressure but little movements.
Mines started last week with a lot of mucous.I usually know when i'm losing too much blood cos i get feverish and very nauseaus and tired.I usually be ok in the afternoon, then the evenings be bad.Last night ionly woke once to use the loo and it was bloody mmucous.I have went around ten times this morning.Morning are bad at the minute.

I think you should go to the doctor.  It is best to catch it now.  You shouldn't be in that much pain and discomfort.  I hope you feel better soon.

I agree that you should be seen by the doc. You definately have to be careful of the bleeding because of anemia. Do they have the steroid enemas in Ireland? You might want to ask for those if they do instead of the foam because it will reach higher up into the intestines. I'm so sorry you having this setback - hang in there my friend.

Doctor has contacted the hospital to see if my consultant will see me as soon as he can.Could be ages though.I had an appointment for the 27th jan but i had to cancel because my daughter had her MRI on same day. He's increased my Pred and gave me tramadol for the pain. I hate they way they make you itch, but quite enjoy the hyper buzz they give you.yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeehahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh:):):)
This afternoon went well up until i drank a bottle of lucozade(gatorade) and it set me off, spent nearly an hour sitting down then getting up,sitting down then getting up,sitting down then getting up off toilet.lol
