Can Nexium be taken as a daily maintenance med at the 20mg dose for acid reflux. Or is too much Nexium not a good idea for the stomach?

Thanks,

I have been on prilosec on nexium for 13 years now. I think the only long term problem is it can lead to poor B-12 absorbtion.
26 Year old married female.  Diagnosed w/ CD 3 years ago, IBS for over 10 years before that, which was probably the CD.  Currently on Pentasa 4 pills/4x day, hysociamine prn, nexium, and ortho evra.  Good times!!!

I've been on Nexium for about 6 months. I take it daily. I have been on about every acid reducer out there. This one is working for me.

I use Prilosec and have been on it for almost a year. I found that I can't get off it but it doesn't matter because I would much rather take another pill then have that horrid stomach pain, nausea and acid burn!
