I think we all hate Prednisone, but sometimes it's a necessary evil. Vent all you want, pretty much everyone here knows what you're going through. Between 4 hours of sleep a night and the Pred edginess, I become a completely different person on Pred.

Count me in as part of this club right now. Just started 60 mgs of prednisone last week. I take 30 mgs in the morning and 30 mgs in early evening and I'm up every night at 2 or 3 am. I am so tired until I get my next dose of prednisone in the morning to rev my system again. Do any of you take anything to help you sleep or deal with the insomnia or does it even make a difference?

Current Meds:

I hate pred too! but it did help me.

I just got a couple of purple strech marks on the side of my chest, none of my bra's fit anymore and i have put on 15 pounds. I am losing hair, I spent saturday crying......hating all the bad things pred has done to me. I bought some jojoba oil to lube up my skin, so hopefully no more marks........
