hey guys, I haven't posted in awhile. I've been doing ok, even though im still flaring (been flaring since dx in 05). Im doing a lot of weight lifting and I am currently studying to be a personal trainer. Working out has really helped me get my UC under a little bit of control. This is probably because im eating better and less stressed. I think I want to add in some probiotics, and see if they can help me get closer to that remission.

I've done some research on the boards, but I am still really lost. Can anyone recommend me a good one?

I take Acidophilus Pearls. Do a search at the top of the page or scroll through some of the posts....this one comes up a lot. You can find more responses.

I'm happy with primadophilus reuteri made by natures way, only one/day is needed, has guaranteed intestinal release, affordable, aids with high cholesterol, lactose intolerance and for women, vaginal health (still fine for men of course) the only downside is it must be kept cold (including when purchased).

My bum is broken....there's a big crack down the middle of it!  LOL  :)

I take Natren's Healthy Trinity and Custom Probiotics' six strain blend. Natren, headed up by the knowledgeable Natasha Trenev, is considered to be the industry standard by alot of folks. Pricey, but worth it, IMHO.
Diagnosed with ulcerative colitis spring 1999.
