so now that I have recently found my ankles and calves again (had really bad edema) I notice that there is a bump on my shin about the size of a medium marble and when I press on it, it hurts (yes, I know stop pressing on it, right  eyes  )  I brought up to my Nephrologist when I saw him yesterday and he said, it was not something to be concerned about that it was probably a calcium deposit.   Now I know I am taking 1500mg of calcium a day b/c of the pred and I don't think I had this before I was doing the treadmill a month ago.........I don't know how long it's been there but it's weird and since I am collecting new diseases like a girl scout collects patches, I am a little worried about it.

ow, ok I will stop touching it!!!  (ever touch a bruise when you know it's going to hurt?  maybe I am nuts?)

My brother has a lot of calcium deposits. I don't know much about them but he says they don't hurt. If it keeps hurting maybe you should see your primary to find out exactly what it is.

And hey! I got a nice collection of patches too! We can be in a troop together :)
