Hey - just wanted to see how everyone was doing?
 
I am going to work out tonite, elliptical, leg & arm machines.
 
I only worked out once last week and twice the week before.......I need to get back into it.  yeah
Beth, 32 ~ Major Flare Sept/Oct 07 ~ almost in remission
UC dx'd March 2000 (30 cenitmeters as of 2005-proctosigmoiditis)
Azathioprine 200mg 1xday nightly; Calcium and Vit D 500mg 3xday, Multi Vit, Folic Acid 400mg 2xday, Prilosec, Probiotics.
Minimal Change Disease (Kidney Disorder) dx'd Sept 2007 - partial remission since 03/08
Prednisone 40mg 1xday (taper 5mg a week = ), Simvastatin 20mg 1xday, Diovan 160mg 2xday. Tekturna 300mg 1xday, Fursomide 20mg 1xday, Fosomax 70mg 1xweek. MCD may be from hypersensitivty to 5ASA drugs.
Pre-Diabetic from Prednisone use - Low carb/sugar diet & exercise.

I recently stopped going, I've been losing too much weight and goign to the gym was just making it worse.
Diagnosed in spring 2005 at age 28
Currently on 12 asacol pills a day + Entocort

Thanks for the reminder, Beth. I have not been doing it much since I have been flaring but I would like to try to do some at least. I hope the others are sticking with it. I usually feel better once I do it, it's just getting up the energy to start that is the problem. Also having 20 trips to the bathroom doesn't help :(
Diagnosed with Left-sided UC in 1995 at age 15, Prednisone, Rowasa & Hydrocort. Enemas, Proctofoam, Sulfasalazine, Asacol, Probiotics, Fish Oil, Aloe Juice, Canasa, Enotcort, Colazol, Anamantle, Remicade, etc... had almost recto-vaginal fistula in 2004, put on Remicade, August 2007:Increased Remicade dosage-700mg every 6 weeks,diagnosed w/ Psoriatic Arthritis & Fibromyalgia Current meds: Clorazepate, Proctofoam HC, Glucosamine 500, Vitamin B, Lomotil,  Tylenol pm, Lyrica started 1/17/08

An avid gym go-er until i lost all energy and was always out of breath. Diagnosed soon after that. A year later, thank G-d, the energy is back though motivation needs some help.

When i go i use the treadmill (elliptical is too much bouncing and jostling on joints)
and leg, ab, arm machines too.

I'm still going strong! My sculpt teacher is awesome....she is battling cancer and let me tell you she kicks our butts every class! Running and going to cardio classes at the gym.

I love working out,especially running, but just like you guys, sometimes the energy isn't there or my joints are sore. I guess my stubbornness rules on the days I am on the treadmill and I am yawning 8)
Diagnosed with Crohns/Colitis in 2004. Currently taking Azulfidine 500 mg/3 x 3 day, Synthroid. Have had joint complications such as pyroderma gangrenosum in ankles as complication of IBD.

I just bought one of those glider things off of ebay (cheap compared to what they cost in the store) it'll be a new form of both cardio and lower toning/strengthening (from the butt down) it's similar to skating, skaters have the tightest buns and best shaped legs because of skating...so I'm looking forward because routines can get boring (been exercising for 6 yrs now) and it's nice to throw something new into the mix...I think it'll be a blast especially compared to the stationary bike, jump rope and jumping jacks and the punching bag (which is a great stress reliever by the way).

My bum is broken....there's a big crack down the middle of it!  LOL  :)
