I just came down with the flu and was wondering if Nyquil would do a number on my UC since its 10% alcohol?

Thanks

It never bothered me, but we all react differently to stuff. If you're concerned about the alcohol, you could always try taking the gelcaps instead of the liquid.
Feel better!

Go for it! The sleep is the most important part.

I have okay luck for one or two nights - after that something gets the best of me.

Thanks for the well wishes :-) . I haven't slept for the past 2 nights due to this flu and I really need the rest.

Chamomile tea before bed is suppose to have a sleep effect, you could also try that, it's a natural antibacterial, antifungal and antibiotic so it'll likely help your cold and it's a more natural way, same with honey, whenever I (which is very rare) get a sore throat I take honey right off a teaspoon, it helps get rid of the sore throat fairly quickly because of it's components.

Thanks.

I have chamomile tea w/honey most every evening...it's also supposed to be an anti inflammatory.

Yes it is, shoot I missed mentioning that, it's the main reason I drink it first thing every morning...glad you knew that though...I've heard if you drink it right before bed it's suppose to be a natural sleep aid...I've never tried myself, just drink it in the am and sometimes in the afternoon.
