I'm on Remicade and I just came down with a nasty cold, which I know is going to be hard to fight off.  What does everyone take for colds?  It seems everything out there has something I can't take....isn't this UC stuff fun?????
Diagnosed UC June 2007 (mis-diagnosed with IBS for 3 years)
Current meds: Asacol 9/day, iron, multivitamin.
6-MP 50mg, Cortenema, Remicade, Lexapro 10mg/day

When I get a cold, I live on Dayquil and if my nose is stuffy I use Vicks nasal spray at night so I can breathe. But I don't use this more then 2 or 3 nights or I get the rebound effect. You can also try*ohhhhh man, major brain fart here*** it's that stuff you spray up your nose by a bottle or q-tip swab that has zinc in it - Zicam??. It's suppose to shorten the duration of a cold. My daughter uses this and what normally would be a 7-10 day cold turns out to be 3-5.
