I'd call the doc if you get dizzy when using the canasa.

I would think that the canasa wouldn't hurt a hemm. If anything, it might help with the inflammation. I wouldn't poke at it thought...just be really careful when inserting the supp. : )

Can't comment on the canasa and hemi part...but Canasa always makes me feel dizzy. It only lasts 30-60 minutes but happens everytime!

I thought I was imagining things when I "felt" that! Good to know it's not my imagination.

I started Canasa last week. I haven't felt any dizziness, but then again, I take it right before bed so I probably wouldn't notice any dizziness.

I take mine in the morning/afternoon and haven't felt dizzy, but it's worth a shot to try it at night. I don't think Canasa would make the hemmie worse, but maybe check with your doctor.

therearemiracles....if you can't take canasa...get the doctor to prescribe you steroid supps as well as the enemas...that should help clear up some of the butt woes and treat flaring as well.

It made me dizzy also, so I figured it was to much meds for me, so I take a knive and cut a little off before useing it and I no longer have a problem with it. I cut very little off but it works for me.

hey therearemiracles!

I had the same thing when I first started the Canasa, I'd get a bit dizzy and wanted to take a nap as it totally wiped me out... I think I even posted a couple of years ago about being wiped out from Canasa....  I'd definately take it at night if you only have to use it once a day. I bet that would help TONS and you'd feel fine in the am most likely.  I did notice that after using it for a few weeks that the dizzyness and tiredness went away and it didn't bother me at all then....

Good luck and I hope you figure something out that works for you :)
