I was posting a thread over on the depression and anxiety forums and wanted to drop in a say "HI."

I am still feeling better, gutwise, on a strict gluten free and dairy free diet and am able to do more things as each month passes.  I am still not 100% and I am told that sometimes wont happend until a few years on the diet since I had done so much damage to my system earlier.

I joined a baseball league last year- I NEVER thought I would play again- and the season starts soon!  I cant wait.

However I am still having touble with anxiety and depression which all started when I first started to have troubles with my stomach.  Around this time was my last semster in college, my girlfriend of 4 years- now my wife, moved across the country, and I was having family troubles.  I thought that this would all go away by now but it hasnt.

I know this isnt under the scope of this forum but if I remember correctly there were some of you who also dealt with depression...

Hello to all my "old" friends... Shrek, Dansky, Quincy, Red, FSU, badgutgirl and everyone else... sorry I cant remember the screen names and i remember real names were not supposed to be used...  I hope you are all dong well

Hey Terps, so glad to hear from you! Glad the gut stuff is doing well and that you were able to join that baseball team; now that's a positive story! :-) How many years have you been married now...two or three? Gosh where does the time go! Anyway, great to hear from you and I'm glad you popped over to say hi. Keep us updated from time to time, so good to hear from you. Say hello to Mrs. Terps! :-)

Great you stopped in!!!

Anxiety and depression is difficult to deal with for any of us who has it...even when we know how to deal with it. Would you possibly see a therapist?
You could learn some valuable tools.

Have a great baseball season!

Hey Carol and Quincy!!

Mrs Terps is doing very well. We keep ourselves busy with our after work activities and I am so pleased that I am able to participate more with her and our new additon to our family our 1 year old Goldendoodle Oakley. I remember last summer I was playing the outfield and I dove for a ball and landed on my chest and stomach and slid on the ground a few feet. I remember getting up and not feeling much discomfort at all when before if my wife even hugged me the wrong way I would be in pain. We have been married two years and 4 months... AND WHERE DOES THE TIME GO? Time goes by quickly when you are having fun

Quincy- I am throwing around the idea of seeing a therapist and it seems as though I am learning more and more towards that option... hope my insurance covers it.

Good to hear from you guys
