Hey there!
I was wondering if anyone has tried the digestive advantage product? I currently use Lactaid pills. They are working fine. But it just seems like I'm taking them multiple times a day. The price is just starting to add up. I'd love to hear your raves (or rants) about the product.
Thanks!

I haven't tried the lactose formula, but I do use the Chrons/Colitis formula and it has been very helpful.  When I began using it I was in a severe flare and saw results within 3 days of starting it.  It wasnt quite enough to put me in remission, but it drastically reduced the severity of the flare.  I do wish however that the box listed the amount of probiotics, not just the name, in the ingredients so I could compare the product with others.

I've read that all probiotic supplements are suppose to aid with lactose intolerance but I think it depends on what strains are in the probiotics...

the one I use is called primadophilus reuteri made by natures way and it states that it infact aids with lactose intolerance (and I can assure you it does because I had severe lactose issues and used to take lactaid pills too, but no longer) it also aids with high cholesterol and for women, vaginal health.

it must be taken everyday (like any probiotic) even while in remsission.

:)
My bum is broken....there's a big crack down the middle of it!  LOL  :)
