Hey :)
I've recently been put back on 6MP and have been on it for about a month and a half. I started with 50mg for 30 days and now have increased my dose to 75mg. I noticed on the 75mg that I am extremely fatigued and sleeping longer. It sort of feels like at moments the life is being sucked or drained out of me. Is this something that will pass from the experience of people on 6MP on this forum? On my last foray with this drug, I never made it to 75mg because of other complications at the time. This feeling of extreme fatigue is really strange to me and I don't know if it is considered "normal" when on this dose or not. I'm definitely going to address it with my doctor but any similiar experiences or suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks.

I'm on Imuran and at times I have extreme fatigue. My GI and primary have run a zillion tests. Everything so far has come up normal. I blame it on the meds and the disease in general. I try to workout everyday and that really helps. Definitely bring it up w/ your doctor though. She/he may have some other ideas.

Yes! When I went from 75mgs to 100mgs the extreme fatigue was/is horrible! I feel like I want to sleep all day, it stinks. :( I have brought up to my GI and he ran all the bloodwork too (everything is fine). How long have you been at the 75mgs? I know that every time I increased my mgs, it's like my body had to become accustomed to the med all over again - just not as bad as the beginning. Once my body became accustomed to the higher dose, the extreme fatigue wasn't as severe - well either that or I'm learning to function at a sleepier (is that even a word?? lol) rate!

I've been on the 75 mg for about 2 weeks. I hope my body does adjust to this dose/fatigued feeling soon. It's pretty hard to function normally like this. I've even found myself unable to go into work here and there because I overslept big time due to the fatigue. Thanks for the replies. It's a little less scary knowing that I'm not the only one feeling like this from 6MP. I get panicky very easily when it comes to drugs so I'm trying to keep my cool. :)

I was recently allowed to stop my 6-MP for a whole 4 weeks, and darn it was awesome! So much energy, I could stay up until late without killing myself and darn, massive jump in the sex drive too. ;-)

Really???? I'm on the 6Mp and exhausted all the time, so I thought that was why I had no sex drive - very interesting.......
