Thanks for sharing. I am surprised crohnes and UC were not mentioned in the article.
 
 
Dx:  UC Proctitis 2006
 
Meds:  None so far. Garlic works to ease flares. My GI laughed when I told him and said it was just coincidence.
 
Diet:  Regular fresh garlic, Biobest yogurt daily, Omega 3 supplements, very limited junk food, carbs and processed food, low fat diet.  Lots of fresh fruit and veggies (limited potatoes). 
 
Added: tumeric and probiotics.

thats great that they're getting that message out. I'm also clueless as to why Crohn's and UC are ommitted, they are a big part....

My personal favorites are Rambo Poo and Poo-phoria - we can definetely all relate to those two!!

Thank G-d - Prednisone then 6MP, Rowasa and Asacol brought remission
Now Asacol 4tabs 2x a day.
Muiltivitamin, Iron and Folic Acid supplements

That scrubs video is exceptionally funny. I think Betty Boop said it best: Poo-poo-pee-poo. I may have gotten that wrong :)

I love the scubs song! Ya know it was nominated for an emmy! I love that show and they have had tons of patients with IBD if you notice their patients.

Left sided UC diagnosed 1/98 age 19, Pan colitis diagnosed 1/07
Currently on 4x3 Asacol, 5mg pred, 150mg Imuran
Prontonix once daily for acid reflux, zofran twice daily for nausea, darvocet for pain
antispasmodics didn't work.
