I have had to literally run to a bathroom in an emergency while having a flare, and being out somewhere.I have always been lucky when I got to the ladies room, there was never a line, and sometimes nobody else was in the bathroom.  But.........I think that if I had an emergency and there was a line and I knew I couldn't wait in that line that I would probably put my hands on my stomach and say "I'm going to be sick".  I don't think anybody would be ticked off if I cut them in line, who would want to get thrown up on?????  yeah

I'm not sure what the site is. I got the link in a newsletter I receive. I found some of the information on the site to be dated or didn't apply to what I know about UC... But an interesting column none the less.

Unfortunately, I've had the unpleasant experience of having to GO in the middle of the "rush" at a previous job. The stalls were all full and before anyone could exit and I could BEG to go next... Not one of my finer moments :(

During my last flare, my boys were younger, it seemed like everytime it was a shopping day, I would have a "bathroom" day.  One day on our way, we pulled over- I ran into a cornfield, found a little open spot - and was squatting and here comes a little airplaine - I just waved  - and my kids were honking the horn, and we laughed - if we couldn't laugh about these types of things at times, I'd cry
