Hi Quincy,
I was reading your post on hemi's and I feel like you do OMG can you say "RAZOR BLADES"? Anyways, I still have one that is a nightmare, if I stand too long it comes out and it's hurt and it's ruining my moods. Now I can see how they make people grouchy, they are a nusiance. Mine is bad where I stand for 20 mins it comes out and is a big bulge. Who would know looking at me, my butt is such a mess?

I found this awesome doctor, I hope, and I go see him next week. I need relief. I think I have a tear in it. I feel it pulse on it's own it seems. I can eat a piece of food and after swallowing it makes my butt hurt. I know I don't have chron's I've been checked, but it's like the nerves run from my mouth to the butt. Maybe they do. My hemmi's are from 3 years of diarreah, no consipation whatsoever.

I will let you know what they recommend. I've had rubber banding 4 years ago (when I was bleeding and all they said I had was IBS and hemmi's. Boy, were they wrong, it was UC. They pushed me away, very sad some of these doctors) Then within the last 6 months I've had the laser and that didn't work possible b/c I irritate it every day with pooping for hours at a time. I do have to say it's been better b/c of the Vitamin E Enemas and seriously, I go to the bathroom and I'm off the pot. It's a relief and my gut spasms are so much, much better.

So maybe withe new hemmi treatment and not having to go to the bathroom for hours, I can get relief.

How are you doing?
I had the Rocephin shot and 2 weeks of Omnicef, this helped with my bloating and digestion. That was 4/15/07
Had Cipro and Predison for 10 & 5 days, 7/3/07
Colonoscopy & Endoscopy 7/27, Left sided colitis and near cecum (mild)
Had a shot of steriods for my ear inflammation 8/31
Stopped Colozal 10/1/07 was on it for 7 weeks, side effects
On Standard Process supplements, trying a new protocal from a
natural path as of 9/10/07
Started Vitamin E enemas 3/27/08 by Sheldon

Actually, I'm doing fine and since back on my rectal meds plus using the proctocedyl things are getting back to normal. I don't believe I have internal hemmies, so banding won't work for me..I'd actually rather external ones I think..lol!

I'm happy you're feeling better, ...big change for you.

The food in the mouth, rectal reaction is part of the peristalsis/programmed reaction. Biofeedback might help that...but again, it's a process.

As your rectum heals, your gut spasms will improve. How it works it seems.

I hope each day has you feeling better. Thanks for the enquiry.

peristalsis....independent movement of the digestive tract to move things along.

programmed reaction....the body is smart. If it's learned a reaction..it just continues it.

biofeedback...it's a process to learn to interrupt a reaction to reteach the body how to react or not react. Check out biofeedback on the internet..

hope this helps.
