If Imodium is on her list of approved medications, no reason for her not to take it before the infusion. I used to take it every morning, including the morning of the infusion. My infusion center has a bathroom right there. If we need to go, we just get up, take our IV bag off the hook and go in there. They have a place right beside the toilet to hang your IV. And because they use an in-line infusion meter, there's no equipment to worry about
