Sherry - I am so sorry your Grandma is sick, and you had to clean all that stuff up. It's so difficult watching somone go through that.
I would probably phone primary and make appt w/GI. That way the primary is kept informed. My Doc's are really good about
cc'ing eachother and both ask me how I am doing w/my other problem, my GI always asks how things are going w/my kidneys and my Kidney Doc always asks how my colon is and they always cc my primary (don't know what she actually does or if she even reads it, but the info goes into my file). I am really begining to like my GI, I feel he is really keeping on top of everything and he is good about
ret. phone calls and making appts.

Azathioprine 200mg 1xday nightly; Calcium and Vit D 500mg 3xday, Multi Vit, Folic Acid 400mg 2xday, Prilosec, Probiotics.
Minimal Change Disease (Kidney Disorder) dx'd 09/07 - partial remission since 03/08
Prednisone 25mg 1xday (taper 5mg a week from 60 = ), Simvastatin 20mg 1xday, Diovan 160mg 2xday. Enalpril 10mg 1xday, Fursomide 20mg 1xday, Fosomax 70mg 1xweek. MCD may be from hypersensitivty to 5ASA drugs. Do you have edema? If so, check your protiens!
