Hi Everyone,

I'm running a half-marathon in July to support research for Crohn's Disease and Ulcerative Colitis. It helps me talk to other people about these diseases when I hear first-hand accounts of people who are suffering from them, so if anyone wants to share their story I would greatly appreciate it.

*Emily, fundraising here on HW is forbidden regardless of the cause.  Please read the forum rules to familiarize yourself with them.*

And if you've seen this message on other boards, please overlook it, I'm trying to reach as many people as possible.

Thanks and good luck to all!

Emily

sorry, i understand. the main reason for my post was to share with people who are suffering from this, as I'm doing it for them. i don't know anyone personally with Crohn's or Colitis...

We appreciate that you are helping us IBD'ers out. It's for a great cause, one of which I participate myself - not the marathon but the Take Steps Walk. With all the money raised, hopefully soon they can find a cure! Now wouldn't that be awesome?!
