Hello everyone,

It's been a while since I posted, so it's good to be back. :)

Well I just wanted to know if anyone has heard about Paul Nison or have read any of this books?

He said he cured his colitis by consuming a raw food diet. He starting by consuming only vegetable juice then proceding to blended foods then to a whole raw diet.

David Klein's another one that claims to have healed his UC with a raw diet. I investigated it, but it wasn't for me personally. Juicing was too much mess and trouble and the tough fiber of raw fruits and veggies would have killed me when I was flaring.
Diagnosed with ulcerative colitis spring 1999.

Maintenance dose sulfasalazine.
Probiotics, l-glutamine and fish oil caps. George's aloe vera juice. Oregano oil antibiotic, antiviral, antifungal.

I watched the videos and they seem very interesting. I found this clip where he specifically gives instructions for those with IBD.

I am going to take his advice serious. I have already been going mostly raw and feeling a bit better but there are some things I can still improve on that he talks about. He also talks about why people fail to get better while on a raw food diet because they aren't juicing or blending. I am going to give this diet a go and keep you guys updated.

i watched those videos a few months back. truthfully, it sounds like any other "cure" that someone came across...may work for some and not others...
i.e. SCD diet, coconut oil, peppermint, fish oil, snake oil:), castor oil, manuka honey, probiotics, prebiotics, aloe, oregano, anti-whateever.....etc.

I've seen this as well. Pretty interesting! I am currently trying to do lots of blending and juicing. So far, small improvement. I'm gonna keep with it and see how it goes. I got my fingers crossed.
