When I first started here everyone suggested probiotics and they helped a lot and even though in remission I continue probiotics daily along with my other medications.

Hi , My name is Faith and I am a new member. . I have UC for about 3years . It's been very helpful reading what's going on with everyone in this forum. I do have something to add on the Joint pain subject. If you decide to try Glucosamine, also add Chondroitin and MSM. MSM is a natural inflammatory. Works really well! You can get them all in one supplement.

It helped me right away. I was so tired of taking so many supplements I kind of stopped for a while. I found a big difference when I stopped. It's worth a try. I started taking them myself again. My lower back has been giving me problems again.

I just started a supplement called Joint Fit by Life Fitness. It has glucosamine, chondroitin, tumeric and other vitamins. I can't tell a difference yet since it's only been 2 days. My husband uses straight glucosamine at 3000mgs and says it works pretty good. I got mine at my local pharmacy.

I found it in a vitamin shop and in supermarkets. Any where they sell health products. Just make sure they have that combo. MSM is the important one for inflammation. Hope this helps.
