Hi, in the two and a half years i've had uc i've had quite a lot of bad flares, i've tried all sorts of meds and have now started remicede infusions. My last really bad flare (which was the worst by far) was right over christmas and in to new year, great timing i know! since then i've not been too bad a bit of pain but i guess i'm just used to that, not to many bm's in a day 2 to 3 sometimes i even struggle, but over the last couple of days i've had loose bm's and stabbing pains in my stomach, now i'm having trouble going again, do you think i could have irritable bowel as well as ibd? i often feel like not getting up in the mornings for pain, if i hadn't got my two little girls to keep me going i don't know what i would do. i felt like the infusions were helping until yesterday, now i'm confused. i've not been in this much pain for quite a while, it's horrid as i fly to majorca 2 weeks today and have a feeling this wont go away. not looking forward to it as my holiday was completly ruined by this last year. Any tips on getting this under contol before i go as my poor little girls saw me in a terrible state for the first few days last year! HELP! Miriam x

I really have nothing to suggest - except call your doctor and insist that he/she see you. Maybe someone else has experienced this.

I wish you luck. Let us know how you are doing.
