Hi Everyone,

I am curious to know which brand of Omega-3 you use and why you chose it over other brands? Also, do you use a capsule or oil or something else?

Carlsons.   I had best results with straight up drinking it out of bottle.  I do the SuperDHA capsule formula now.  Why Carlsons? No fishy taste or smell when taken out of capsule.  Has one of highest DHA contents found which is most important factor when getting omega's imo.  Most and best reviews out of all of the different types on tons of different sites.   That's one I do at least!

What is Omega 3 suppose to do anyway? I know its considered to be a brain food but what does it do besides that? And also how much are you suppose to have in your diet on a daily basis? What about Omega 3 eggs??

Funny you ask about these- I just read on the CCFA website an article about how Omega 3's have been recently proven to not be effective at all in Crohns disease. Now granted, this is Crohns, not UC, but... It's "very disappointing", the doctor who led the research stated. It is! It's on the homepage, at the bottom, under the "Headlines" section.
