I've just been diagnosed with ulcerative colitis. Ugg. I've been getting pins and needles feelings in my hands and all over. Many times I also have bone and joint pain. I was also diagnosed with osteoporosis. confused   My Rheumatoid Factor is sky high and the docs say I don't need to have RA for the high level. They say it can be coming from someplace different. Does anyone experience this? Ever heard of it?

Try googling colitic arthropothy. Someone posted on it a few weeks ago - would explain the bone and joint pain. Might also try peripheral neuropathy for the tingling in hands and feet.

Do you have a history of prednisone use? What meds are you on now?

When I had pins and needles in my fingers it was because my B12 level was too low...the pins and needles are the first sign of nerve damage due to lack of B12, if it's lack of B12 then you need to get it checked out ASAP because this can lead to irreversable nerve damage.

My bum is broken....there's a big crack down the middle of it!  LOL  :)
