I am having such a bad day all around!  The weather here in MI is cloudy and chilly - my body does NOT do chilly!  My Uc, though I wouldn't classify this as a flare, seems to be acting up today.  It does that on occasion, where I will have crampy D a couple times in a day and then everything is fine until the week or two after or I eat something that doesn't agree with me.  I don't have the urgency but the cramping is a little bad today with a bit of D (no blood thank goodness).  Then to top it off, it feels like the ligaments/tendons(?) in my inner thigh-hip joint area is aching and sore.  This seems to coincide with the cramps so I know that it's probably Uc related.  Then for the past 2 days, my upper back has been absolutely killing me!  I have been back on my Skelaxin to help with the pain.  My lower back was all spasmy on me earlier after bending over for a few minutes.  My legs are cramping and super weak.  My toes of my left foot are sending sharp shooting pains thru the ole piggies.  I also now have a lump growing on the bone where I dropped the shaving cream can - thinking that the trauma is causing another cyst.  Oh and not to mention, my fibrocystic breasts (especially on my right) are sending me hot shooting pains.  Agh!  Today is NOT a good day!  I think I may just crawl back in bed and stay there  sad

Oh no Sherry! On a day like this you need to get into bed w/ the computer of course (ha ha), a tub of icecream and shut the door until you feel better!!!

You hang in there. Hopefully you will feel better as the day continues on. Sending happy thoughts your way!!!

Crawling back into bed sounds like a divine plan! I had a rough night - induced by eating too much salsa at lunch yesterday... I think that's what caused it...

Make sure your bed has lots of warm, cuddly blankies! Maybe a warm dog too ;-)

Sherry, we've just come off a week of that sort of weather. My colon has behaved well, but my musculoskeletal pain has gone crazy. My shoulders, wrists, hands, knees and ankles feel like someone's been beating on them with a hammer. The sun is out today, so maybe that will help

Wishing you sunny weather and pain-free days, dear!

Sorry to hear that, Sherry. On days like that, I take a Darvocet, soak in a hot bath, and then lay around. Heating pads are nice too. Feel better soon! It's gotta be getting warmer there soon, right?!!?

Lordy, I hope the weather turns warmer soon! Monday (Gma's bday) we had such glorious weather - 75 and sunny - that I guess a little rain here or there is not such a bad thing. Too bad my body doesn't like it much! I feel a little better. My colon has calmed down and the upper back pain is lessening from the Skelaxin. Now I am just so stinkin' tired that it is unreal. I think it's the Skelaxin that is making me so tired. Ok, off to go relax.

And are you getting your period soon?

Sounds like the perfect day to hibernate and veg. Put out a sign to your family..."out of order until further notice".

I can relate to the change in weather...and if your joints are weather/pressure sensitive, you'll be in pain. It could also be the first symptoms of a flare...especially the down the inside of the thigh pains.

Hope this doesn't last too long. I'd call it a total write-off day.

I can make up a sign that says out of service until the sun shines again! Yes, I am VERY weather sensitive and high barometrics are torture on me. Not a clue about the period thing though. Since I don't have them anymore I never know when my "time" would be. But it can be around that time I guess. The sun came out in the latter half of the day which helped some. Yep, total write off day it was. Tomorrow here is supposed to be nicer and plus I start accupuncture for my back so cross your fingers for me! :)

That sucks sherry, I've got the first 2 things in common with you today, my gut was behaving badly (but my periods are on their way so it's to be expected for me) and our weather was also cloudy, rainy, hailing at times and I'm all the way in alberta.  I don't do cold either...where I live you can go from wearing sandles to boots within 10 minutes and then back to sandles again.

Feel better...hopefully tomorrow and all the days after will be better and better.

:)

My bum is broken....there's a big crack down the middle of it!  LOL  :)
