I have recently had some serious itching / burning issues in my butt - very irritating actually...when I itch it, it gets worse... Sometimes a little blood on the tp. I have been using some PrepH cream which helps a little... Sound like a 'roid or fissures?? I guess pooping too much isnt enough...

Sounds as though it could be a fissure and/or external hemorrhoid.

Have you taken a look yet? Yep, squat over a mirror. A fissure will look like a cut in the anal folds.
An external hemorrhoid will look like a swollen vein around the anus. An internal hemorrhoid might peek through the anus.

The itching might also be a yeast type of could try a med with an antifungal in it.

You could also try tucks or something like that to clean after bms to help with some of the inflammation/irritatiob if you aren't able cleanse completely or whatever after bms.

Sitz baths could also help.

Hope you are able to get it cleared up quickly...a royal pain in the butt for sure!

something else you might try that works for me is called LMX 5%.  It isn't something that heals a hemmy, but it definitly takes the pain away for a while, which can sometimes be just as painful as the stomach cramping.  You have to get a script from your doc.  But it really is worth it.
3x3 colazol a day
1000 mg canasa bedtime
3 entocort a day
1-2 cortifoam enemas as needed
prenatal vitamin

if you can feeling it bulging out at all, try sitting on an ice pack for a while. that works way better for me than any of the creams.

and if it's itchy with any kind of a rash looking area, try some anti bacterial or anti fungal cream.

fun fun fun!
